A photographer’s eye view of where to have your Palm Beach wedding in 2026. I am a New England based editorial wedding photographer, and Palm Beach high season runs opposite my home calendar, which means winter dates here get my full attention. This guide looks at Palm Beach venues the way I scout them before a wedding: where the light falls in the late afternoon, how the timeline moves between ceremony, cocktails, and the ballroom, and which rooms photograph the way they feel in person. The venue is only half of it. The plan behind the photos is the other half: the Wedding Photo Playbook is the timeline, the light, and the family photo system we use with our own clients, written for any couple to follow.
Once you have your venue, the next decision is who documents the day. Here is how to choose a luxury wedding photographer.

Palm Beach in season is the most generous light I photograph all year. Low winter sun, white architecture, and ocean on both sides of the island. The old money aesthetic is not a styling choice here. It is the venue. Will Hall, Perla Images
The island’s resorts host the grandest weddings in Florida, with dedicated event teams, Forbes level service, and grounds built for photographs.
Smaller rooms, bigger personality. These are the venues for the fancy house party wedding: chef driven menus, layered candlelight, and a dance floor that stays full.
For the Fearless Lover
Five questions every couple should ask their Palm Beach venue. These are the ones the planning packets leave out.
There is no single best Palm Beach wedding venue. The Breakers is the grand oceanfront classic, The Colony and Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens are the boutique and garden choices, the Flagler Museum owns the Gilded Age landmark category, and Eau Palm Beach and Four Seasons deliver modern resort luxury. The right fit depends on guest count, season, and how formal you want the day to feel.
Palm Beach weddings commonly range from about $35,000 to well over $100,000, and the island’s marquee properties sit at the top of that range. A 150 guest wedding at The Breakers typically runs around $215,000 once food and beverage minimums, rentals, and service charges are included.
High season runs November through April: dry air, low warm light, and reliable sunsets. Summer brings heat, humidity, and afternoon storms, so summer weddings photograph best with morning coverage, indoor ballrooms, and a sunset window held for portraits.
Yes. The oceanfront resorts host ceremonies on private lawns and beach overlooks on their own grounds. Public beach ceremonies are possible in some towns with a permit, and public permits do not reserve the beach, so most couples at this level choose a private resort lawn instead.
Twelve to eighteen months is standard for high season dates. The November through April Saturdays at the marquee properties are the first to go, and the strongest vendor teams book on a similar horizon.
Perla Images is based on Cape Cod, and Palm Beach is one of a small number of destination markets we photograph each year. Your high season is our open calendar, which means winter dates get first pick of our schedule. The approach is the same one behind our New England work: editorial fashion photography with documentary honesty, two photographers on every wedding. See the Charleston venue guide for our other destination market, and the Cape Cod, Newport, and Boston guides for the home coast.
I limit my wedding bookings to 20 weddings per year, and only a few of those dates travel. Popular dates fill 12 to 18 months in advance.

If you are searching for a Palm Beach wedding photographer who understands the candlelit reception, the intimate dinner party reception, the moody coastal portrait, or the editorial documentary style that is defining 2026 weddings, this is the right venue list. The Colony and Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens offer the warm, layered light that flatters film and digital alike. The Breakers and the Flagler Museum deliver rooms that read as old money in photos because they are. For couples planning a fancy house party feel with chef driven menus and candle and lantern lighting, the boutique properties on this list are the strongest fit.
