We approached this wedding with a goal to bring out the edge. We believe that Cape Cod weddings are at their best when modern creativity is blended with classic tradition.
Timeless, imaginative and stylized this wedding brought together the best of all the elements. Not only was the weather perfect, but the vendor team was truly the best of the best on Cape Cod. The stunning backdrop of Wychmere's DUNE venue paired with the intentional design and decor made this wedding completely unforgettable,
A Modern Love Story..
I had the honor of working with Maria & Charles for both their engagement session and their wedding. Their passion to get creative and make fun, unique photos was there from the very start.
Their personalities were warm, open and welcoming from the very start. You could just tell how connected and in love they were. This energy translated so well through my camera and I found it easy to bring out the best in them. From our first shoot in Duxbury to our second in Scituate and finally into the wedding there was nothing but sheer positivity and love.
On Digital & Film
We incorporated lots of film while documenting their wedding. We love the feel and tones of Fuji 400 and felt it was the perfect film stock to add to the mood of the day.
Unique angles and purpose driven lighting
The way it is shot is as important as what is being shot..
We believe that every shot should be composed and lit with intention. Every scene is unique and calls for a new way to highlight it. The angles we choose and the compositions we create are always driven by a deep desire to tell the real story, and do it in a way that enhances the feeling.
