Best for the classic full wedding day at one or two nearby locations. Ten hours usually starts with detail and getting ready coverage, runs through the first look, full portraits, ceremony, and cocktail hour, and stays through a good stretch of open dancing, with time set aside for sunset photos of just the two of you. The right fit if you want the whole story without watching the clock.

Every year I photograph one wedding for free, for a couple who is in genuine need and could not otherwise hire a photographer. Applications open 1 September.

What is your photography style and approach?
My style is heavily artistic and editorial with a documentary undercurrent. I place emphasis on understanding the personalities of my couples, learning what differentiates them as people, and forming a vision that is unique based on what I have learned. I direct with confidence when guidance is needed and observe with intention when space is needed.
Are you a preferred vendor at any wedding venues?
Yes. Top New England venues where I am a preferred vendor include The Wauwinet Nantucket, Ocean Edge Resort, Pelham House Resort, Newport Vineyards, Venezia Boston, and Marriott Long Wharf Boston.
Do you shoot film photography?
Yes. 35mm film is included in the Full Wedding Weekend and available as optional coverage on the 8 Hour and 10 Hour Weddings. I shoot 35mm film on a case by case basis depending on client preference, my personal feel for the wedding, and what my couples are naturally drawn to. Film stock and processing fees are included in the package price. Film is offered as a hybrid integration alongside primary digital coverage.
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Full wedding day coverage typically ranges from 8 to 14 hours depending on scale, guest count, and whether welcome party or rehearsal dinner coverage is included. Most full wedding days book the 10 Hour Wedding. I provide timeline guidance during the planning process.
Do you include a second photographer?
Yes. Two photographer coverage is included on every Perla Images collection from the 8 Hour Wedding Coverage at $7,000 through the Full Wedding Weekend. Every wedding day is covered by Will + Associate Photographer working together so creative direction and timeline coverage never compete for attention. This structural commitment to two photographers is rare at this price point.
Do we get sneak peeks? When?
Yes. Sneak peeks are delivered within 72 hours of the wedding for every collection.
What is your editing style?
Natural. I hand edit every image personally without the use of AI and lead with skin tones. I remove blemishes and draw out colors that emphasize but do not overpower. The final result reads as editorial fashion photography with documentary honesty.
How quickly do you deliver final galleries?
Final galleries deliver within 60 days for every coverage tier. Sneak peek delivery happens within 72 hours of the wedding. Galleries are hosted on a custom branded online portal with download, print, and share access for two years.
What are the next steps to book you?
Two steps. First, signing an online contract that confirms the date and collection. Second, a 30% deposit to hold the date on the calendar. Date holds are first come first served and the deposit is non refundable. Remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding date.
Do we need an engagement shoot?
Engagement sessions are optional but always recommended. I have a unique approach to getting you comfortable in front of the camera and it is so important that you see how natural shooting with me is. Engagement shoots ease reservations, help us connect personally, and give me a read on your personalities before the wedding day.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. Destination weddings are taken on a case by case basis depending on client vision, location, and my current schedule. For the 10 Hour Wedding tier, travel within New England is included. For destinations outside New England, travel and accommodation are built into a destination proposal.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
The 30% retainer is non refundable. If the wedding date needs to be rescheduled within the same calendar year and I have availability, the full retainer transfers to the new date with no penalty. If the wedding date moves into a different calendar year or I am not available, a portion of the retainer can be applied toward a future engagement session.
How much does a Cape Cod wedding photographer cost?
Cape Cod wedding photography typically ranges from $6,000 to $15,000 depending on coverage hours, second photographer inclusion, and add ons like albums and welcome party coverage. Perla Images starts at $7,000 for 8 hour Cape Cod coverage with two photographer coverage included, with Full Wedding Weekend coverage across New England starting at $15,000; destination wedding weekends are designed and quoted individually.
How much does a Boston wedding photographer cost?
Boston wedding photographers average around $6,627 for 8 hour single photographer coverage per recent 2025 industry surveys, with luxury editorial coverage ranging from $9,500 to $16,000. Perla Images covers Boston weddings starting at $7,000 with two photographer coverage included on every collection.
What is the average wedding photographer cost in Massachusetts?
Statewide averages track close to the Boston figure above, roughly $6,600 for eight hours of single photographer coverage in 2025 industry surveys, with Boston, Cape Cod, and the islands at the higher end of the range. Perla Images charges the same everywhere in Massachusetts: $7,000 for 8 hours and $9,000 for 10 hours, always with two photographers, and travel across the state is included.
How much does a Boston elopement or City Hall wedding photographer cost?
Three hours of elopement coverage with Perla Images is $3,000, which comfortably covers a Boston City Hall ceremony, a portrait walk through the Public Garden or the waterfront, and the start of dinner.
